GESIA recognizes trail blazer companies in ICT & digital inventiveness
Awards presented in 13 different categories to 16 regional and national IT enterprises
Awards for the Grand Challenge also presented to startups in two different categories – ‘Scale-up stage’ and ‘Blooming stage’.
Honouring the change-makers in the ICT industry, the much-awaited GESIA Annual Awards for Excellence in ICT, 2018 were presented today in a magnificent ceremony held at the 2nd day of Vibrant Gujarat Startup & technology Summit in Gandhinagar. Designed to foster innovations in the ICT sector, the 10th GESIA Awards were presented to 16 companies in 13 different categories with winners selected from enterprises that have made India proud of its ICT strength and innovation in technology. The award function was graced by honourable Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Nitinbhai Patel.
Putting the spotlight on the best performers in Gujarat and India’s ICT industry, GESIA awards venerated those embracing enhanced digital inventiveness and progress, preparing the industry for the future.
With 13 award categories and over 200 nominations, the panel of esteemed jury members had a tough time selecting the best. PwC was the Knowledge Partner of GESIA Annual Awards 2018. The coveted trophies were accorded in the presence of host of dignitaries from the ICT industry, partner organizations like FITAG, Invest India, AIM, EDI, ISODA, FICCI Flo, iCreate, SkyQuest, NASSCOM, top executives of member companies of GESIA IT Association and senior Government officials.
Winners of GESIA Awards 2018:
eInfochips (an Arrow company) won the award for the Best IOT-AR-VR Product/ Solution. The trophy for the Best Blockchain Product/ Solution went to Cygnet Infotech. While Vodafone Idea Limited walked away with the Best BigData Product/ Solution award, the Best AI Product/ Solution award was grabbed by Amnex Infotechnologies. Best Cyber Security Product/ Solution prize was won by Halt Dos.com Pvt. Ltd.
IMS People emerged the Best BPO/ KPO. The Best Software Company award in the SME section went to INTECH Creative Services while in the Large Enterprise section it was Cygnet Infotech that won the award. Award for the Best Electronics Company in the SME section went to TechSture Technologies while Sahajanand Laser Technology Limited won in the Large Enterprise section. Evolutionary Systems Pvt. Ltd. was named the Best SI/ Managed Service Provider in SME section while Dev Information Technology Ltd. walked away with the award in the Large Enterprise section for the same.
Charotar University of Science and Technology was christened winner of the Best ICT Initiative in Education Sector. Argusoft India Ltd. was named the Best ICT Initiative in Public Sector (Gujarat). Award for the Best ICT Initiative in Enterprise (Gujarat) went to Gridle (Pivoting Softwares Pvt. Ltd.). Award for the Best ICT Initiative in MSME (Gujarat) was presented to Sourcepro Infotech Pvt. Ltd.

Capermint Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was named as a Best Innovative Enterprise Expo Award 2018 at VGSTS 2018.
