GESIA has successfully institutionalised the GESIA Awards for positioning Gujarat as the most favourable destination for investments in the ICT sector, while highlighting the capabilities that exist within the state. In attendance were top brass of the leading companies including Promoters, Directors, CEOs, CFOs, Presidents and Top Executives of over 500 Software, BPO/KPO/ITES, Telecom & Electronics companies of Gujarat State & from other parts of the country. The IIIrd GESIA Annual Awards 2010 were held on Thursday the 18th March 2010 at Aakash Party Plot, Ahmedabad.

Shri Ravi Saxena IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept of Science & Technology. Govt of Gujarat consented to be the Chief Guest and also addressed the gathering.

Director General of Police (DGP), Shabbir Hussain Shekhadam Khandwawala IPS, Govt. of Gujarat graced the occasion. It was indeed a pleasure to have Dr Varesh Sinha IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept of Labour & Employment, Govt of Gujarat as an esteemed guest at the function. We are thankful to GESIA members and Industry representatives from other cities of Gujarat who came specially to attend the function.

The encouragement and support from all sponsors and supporters, including GIL, helped us to make this event possible. The Media coverage of the GESIA Awards 2010 was extensive and we thank the media for their support of GESIA activities.

The Event received wide acclaim and coverage in various media; both print & electronic. The excellent support extended by media and industry gave us resounding positive feedback. The success of this function would not have been possible without the active participation and involvement and support of the Office Bearers, Executive Committee, Jury Members, Sponsors, Nominees and partners in progress. We would like to thank the ICT industry of Gujarat for their ever continuous support and encouragement in helping us make GESIA Awards 2010 a grand success.
